DOC Maps: Division of Land Resource Protection

The Division of Land Resource Protection (DLRP) works with landowners, local governments, and researchers to conserve California’s farmlands and open spaces.

DLRP produces the Important Farmland (CIF) dataset also frequently referred to as the Farmland Mapping and Monitoring Program (FMMP) dataset. The Farmland Mapping and Monitoring Program has mapped California’s agricultural lands biennially from 1984 through the present. The FMMP provides maps and statistical data for analyzing impacts on California’s agricultural resources.
